Job Opening Contingent Upon Contract Award
OAR is seeking a Junior Level Software Developer to support the Army in the enhancement their Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools. This position requires an inquisitive, outgoing and motivated individual with fundamentally sound software development capabilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision to discover and path-find interoperability between different model-based tools using the .XMI standard. The position will include collaboration within a team environment while emphasizing individual work and contributions to produce state-of-the-art model-based capabilities. Candidate must have excellent people skills and the desire and self confidence to work with a highly technical team of engineers.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have 3-5+ years of experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Candidate must have a good foundation in software development principles and a natural inquisitiveness to path-find new methods, techniques and tools. He/she must be able to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and external industry personnel and have extremely strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
DESIRED SKILLS: Candidate should have familiarity with XMI standards, Rhapsody or any Model-based tools and knowledge or experience with Simulink and or a Computer-Aided Design tool is also desirable.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a software intensive discipline.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be a US citizen and currently hold or be able to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance.
